When Will Blogging “really” be Dead?

January 5, 2011

It’s been a decade since people started to say blogging is going to be a dead nail. But when will Blogging die. But When will Blogging die? When will Bloggers stay in home unemployed instead of Making Money Online? Why is Blogging always trying to die but never dies? Here’s your answer, friends.

When Blogging will die

When Blogging will Die

I am still kicked off by the new year wine, forgiveness is demanded if you are hyping up at me reading this crazy post! :)

Blogging WILL be dead, If and only if…

  • If all the bloggers are dead. Simple, is’nt it?
  • If bloggers get serious. With reference to: Should you take blogging seriously? [Readers' comments]
  • If distractions is greater than or equal to your passion for Blogging.
  • If you are running a news blog but you have no news to post about.
  • If services like Posterous, WordPress and Blogger are shut down. C’mon folks, none would spare their time to create their own platform.
  • If search Engines are lost. Yes, literally! Google fail = Blogs fail.
  • If facebook and twitter allow you inserting Google ads. I’m pretty much sure, blogs would be laid in coffins!
  • If readers die. Oh no, that’s too too hard to take because Readers matter the most when it comes to Blogging! Trust me people – Blogging is Immortal. :-)

Do you feel Blogging has already dead? Drop your views in your comments.

I hope you had good fun going through those points. To get more new year wine (oh, I mean blog posts ;) ) you might want to subscribe to our RSS feed or catch us on facebook/twitter.

    Awesome comprehension… Really liked it..
Blogging surely won’t die if search engines die.. It’ll only die when the passion within us dies..

Most of all, I liked this point: If facebook and twitter allow you inserting Google ads. I’m pretty much sure, blogs would be laid in coffins! :D

The term Blogging is not what it is now. So when something doesn’t exist it can’t die..

Owning sites has become a business. So a simple answer to the question is it will be there but will only get saturated to the highest point.

That’s a new point of view.. I haven’t heard many people speak that way. Btw, thanks for dropping by here. :-D

Thank you so much Siddhu. :)
Okay let’s blend it this way:
If passion within us dies, our blog gradually dies out of new content. We all know search engines love new and fresh content.. They’ll start to neglect blogs if bloggers start losing their passion. When there is no blog results in search engines everybody will give up to hatred on Google, Bing etc., and also suggest to their readers that Search engines are losers and search engines become a failure… No other source is better than search engines with Blogs being kept in mind.. So blogging might die with as much ease as of eating a plantain if search engines die. :)

Blogging will never die, as there will be so many people who love to write new things about different topics. Blogging is a passion, choice and desire to share things with others and it is not possible that all will lose their passion at a same time.

Blogging is not going to go away. As long as people are putting out good content, there will always be readers to read it!

Blogging is here to stay and it’s only going to get better. Unknown to most people, a lot of the sites they’re visit based on searches are now blogs. Many popular websites are what once used to be a small blog. Blogging may evolve and adapt but it won’t go.

    • http://www.usedtiresblog.com used tires

@Komodo, I agree with you that it will evolve, naturally like anything else, but it sure is here to stay!

One possibility is that if Google Dies Blogs will also start dieing.

@Bilal, even if Google falls, there will always be replacements, yahoo or someone else will step up.

As for the longevity argument, I think it disproves the theory that jumping from company to company is a solid recipe for climbing the corporate ladder (CEOs being the most visible examples).
