Chetan thnkx for this article which brings in my notice about page rank factor of twitter. It would be so kind of you if you would post an article related to my querry about twitter PR.

I have noticed that I am not login then my twitter pr of http://www.twitter.com/bigblogacademy is = 0, but when I login my account, it is showing me 9. Now I am confused as I know it very well that getting as high PR takes prolonged time but I don’t know why my account is showing this. And also I would like to know that which is my actual PR 0 or 9 and why they are showing in different.

@Amit Bhagat this is because the URL of the home page of twitter is only twitter.com/ which has PR9 . the actual PR of the profile pages is when u type twitter.com/.

I want to ask what how can this PR give me some benifits?? Is it like a backlinks or something?

Well, I seem to have discovered this post after a long time after it was published.

Anyway, my personal Twitter a/c has a PR6 and my blog profile (@TechChunks) has a PR5 right now.

But… all this makes no meaning as long back Twitter has removed the DoFollow attribute from the profile page. Not even your profile link is DoFollowed now. So what’s the use of having such high PR on our Twitter profiles? duh!
