Motorola has launched Quench XT3 Android phone. A touch screen phone with a 3MP  Camera, microSD support,3.5mm audio jack. It supports 3G , WiFi, LED flash, full HTML browser, Bluetooth

Motorola Quench XT3 has  physical Call and End buttons for the phone functions, as well as a trackball for menu navigation. MotoBlur, Motorola’s proprietary user interface based around social networking, however, has been included for this  Android smartphone.

The Motorola Quench  XT3 has a look of a high end design. It has a smooth soft touch plastic outfitand rounded sides with a metallic silver band that runs around the phone adds more to this device. There is a camera shutter and volume buttons on the right edge and the top you can find a power key and a 3.5mm audio jack. To the left you can find a micro USB port. It has a # megapixel camera at the back with a LEd flash and onboard speaker. 

Quench XT3 runs on Android 1.6 platform. This software can be updated in future. This phone has a modified tray for calling up the applicationa, a drag -down window that displays system information such as signal strength and connectivity  settings, redesigned default icons and contextual menus. You can switch between the standard QWERTY, alphanumeric and dual-letter keyboards, as well as English and Chinese settings.

XT3 supports quad-band GSM, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, EDGE, Assisted-GPS and 802.11b/g. There’s also an ambient light sensor, magnetometer for the digital compass and proximity sensor built into the device. Google applications, which include Gmail, Google Talk, Maps, Android Market and a YouTube player, are preinstalled. Documents To Go (for reading Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF documents), a file manager, GPS tracker, RoadSync, voice note application and RSS reader are also available. The Motorola Quench XT3 is a good-looking entry-level Android smartphone with a good set of features, but is let down by a disappointing touchscreen experience.
