Today, July 15, The 5 Panel Members specially formulated by Government of India to take the decision on New Symbol for Rupee has come out with a Final decision announcing the winner among all the 5 Symbols. Here is the New Symbol for Indian Rupee..

The Symbol is an amalgam of the Devanagari ‘Ra’ and the Roman capital ‘R’ without the stem.
This NEW Indian Rupee Symbol has been designed by IIT Post Graduate D Uday Kumar. The Panel had announced Rs 2,50,000 for the winning Entry. This New Symbol has been approved by Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee says Sources…
