Soon you will be seeing a new tab on your Google+ page. The tab will be placed next to the Circles tab and will be all about Games. Like Facebook, Google+ thinks that a social interaction isn’t just limited to conversations, it is about the real life experiences.

According to the blog post,

With theĀ Google+ project, we want to bring the nuance and richness of real-life sharing to the web. But sharing is about more than just conversations. The experiences we have together are just as important to our relationships. We want to make playing games online just as fun, and just as meaningful, as playing in real life.

You can also brag about your scores to other people and vice versa. The Privacy feature in Google+ is very easy to fiddle with. As Google+ states it is not compulsory for you to be interested in games too, you can easily switch off the game tab and then you will only see conversations from your friends.

Google+ currently has an attractive set of games to begin with like Angry Birds, Crime City and Sudoku. Start the gaming fun right now! Here is a sneak peek about how the gaming experience will be on Google+.

Google Plays Games!

Facebook is giving the search engine giant nightmares these days. First of all, the social networking site has edged past Google’s orkut (which is near obsolete). And now, a lot of income from gaming is making its way into fbs’ pocket.Of course, Google wouldn’t just stand there and see precious income draining away, which is why they have decided to foray into the social gaming market.

Even though allegations of “Google Me”, a supposed competitor to facebook has been denied, they still plan to get all the gaming companies onto “Google Games”. This would be a shot in the arm for the social game developing companies who be happier with a lucrative offer from the big G.
Social games are currently the “in” thing with millions of users logging into to facebook to merely play “Farmville”.
Google is hoping to cash in on this frenzy.

Earlier this year, Google introduced Buzz as an obvious competitor to the microblogging site, Twitter. Now, inspite of denials, Google Games is clearly aimed at knocking down the facebook’s fortress.
