All you Formula One fans can celebrate again! Seven time world champion Michael Schumacher has decided to come out of his retirement and try his hand at the sport that he deserted 3 years back. The 40 year old Formula One Racer had said good bye to racing after the 2006 Formula One Season. But now, Mercedes have confirmed that Schumacher has signed a one year old deal and would be seen on the circuit for the 2010 season.
Schumacher was earlier a consultant for Ferrari & was also expected to make a comeback last year. Unfortunately, he never fully recovered from a neck injury and was unable to race. But now, he has put his injury behind him and is all set to embrace his true love. Reportedly, he is being offered 6.25 million pounds for his comeback. And the other specialty of this tie-up is that its an all- German one 🙂
Schumacher is one of the most successful sportsmen in history having won a number of accolades for his professional feats. According to him, the move to play again represents a new challenge for him, professionally & personally. But will the 41 year old racer find his rhythm again???
