July 9, 2010

Facebook has Now Officially Announced that it is bringing down its “Virtual Gift” service.  Gifts are the best way to convey your wishes to friends and family. Facebook from years has run the “Gift” service which prompts the user to Buy it paying some amount of money (1$ to 10$ to 100$ in the form of Credits ) on Birthday, Anniversary or some special events…

One had to make Payment through  Facebook’s Online Transaction using Facebook Credits (linked to your Credit Card/Paypal) .  Facebook has come to this decision of stopping “Gift Shop” feature as it has realized the more scope for Facebook Games which makes Use of Facebook Credits.

Facebook has made a statement saying “It is disappointing for many million users who used “Gift Shop” service,  We would like to Concentrate on our product development efforts”
