Sachin Tendulkar is the latest addition to the list of celebrity “tweeters”, who use twitter as a platform to reaching out to their fans. He is said to have opened his account on Tuesday at 11:30, with the twitter handle “sachin_rt“. His first tweet was,
“Finally the original SRT is on twitter n the first thing I’d like to do is wish my colleagues the best in the windies,”

He followed it up by tweeting some pictures of him just to prove that he was the “real” Tendulkar and not another crazy fan posing to be him. He also tweeted about the birth of Sehwag’s second child & congratulated him. He is expected to keep his followers updated on the happenings in the cricket world and upcoming tournaments.

No sooner he joined twitter than his number of followers reached 2000. We’re guessing that the little master will set a new world record in the no of followers ad well!
