How To Remove Watermark From a Image

Here is video tutorial on ‘How to remove watermark from a image’.

For people who don’t know what  watermark is , according to Wikipedia,

“

Digital watermarking is the process of possibly irreversibly embedding information into a digital signal. The signal may be audio, pictures or video, for example. If the signal is copied, then the information is also carried in the copy.

”

Watermark looks like the image below.

Watermark Example

First you need to download a software called Inpaint from here:  http://www.teorex.com/inpaint-download.html

Steps to remove watermark:

  1. Open the software.
  2. Browse for the image having watermark.
  3. Select the area having watermark using polygon or rectangle tool.
  4. Click run. You may need to pres run few times to obtain the best results.
  5. When done, just save the file.

        Yeah it works. But be careful as it may ruin the images too. Always use save as!
