Google Voice and Video Now On Linux

August 21, 2010

Two of Google’s popular services are  now available to be used on Linux. Google Voice and Video is now able to be used on a Linux operating system.

Ubuntu and Debian-based Linux are supported. Google has plans for RPM support in the “near” future. This seems to be a good move by Google even tho it has taken nearly 2 years for this awaited feature.

This is good news for everyone especially the Linux community. Linux is slowly becoming more known and widely used, and with company’s such as Google making software available for Linux. People may start to move to the Linux community.

Now the next release to wait for by Google is Google Chromium OS.
